Seriously though, the owner of this site is an electronics technician who lives at the
beach in Northern Florida. Although born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I fled the ravages of
unchecked Southern greed and corruption in addition to the uncontrolled, unplanned, and
explosive development and moved to Florida for the warm weather and scenery. The Internet
is a link to a vast world of intelligence and resources that would otherwise go undetected.
I have been surfing the web since 1987, when the only way for a PC to connect to the
ARPAnet was through Home-brew bridge software and PCBoard BBS's. I have been active
in the online community since 1984 - through local BBS's and early message networks.
The satisfaction derived from this site revolves primarily around the desire to learn new skills.
To archive perfection - as I see it, anyway - in any project is my passion. The unending quest
to make it work - My Way! Programming is a hobby and JAVA, DHTML, and JavaScript are
simply extensions of my early exposure to, and interest in, Assembly Language and C/C++.
My interests include electronics design, computer programming, video production, sports cars,
reef aquaria, planted aquaria, horticulture, music, 3D modeling, nature in general, woodworking,
woodturning, and whatever else strikes my fancy this week. I firmly believe that when you stop
learning, you might as well stop living.
Unfortunately, I know far too many people who (should) have effectively stopped doing both.
